ALBANY, NY – With a short bench on the blue line, the Albany Devils managed a solid 5-2 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this past Sunday.
Despite dressing five defensemen the Devils got three goals from. Eric Baier, Brandon Burlon and Raman Hrabarenka each scored while Joe Faust added an assist for the cause.
“You like to get contributions from everywhere,” Burlon said. “The past three games, we’ve only had one goal, and you can’t rely on your forwards all the time. You can’t rely on your top scorers all the time, so it’s definitely nice to be able to contribute and chip in where we can.”
With the win, the Devils snapped a three-game losing streak. Keith Kinkaid made 26 saves to get the win and improve to 5-1-2 on the season.
